What an exciting collaboration!
H&M’s next designer collaboration will be with Lanvin, one of the most influential brands worn by celebrities on and off the red carpet. Everyone from Gwyneth Paltrow and Natalie Portman to Katie Holmes and Jessica Alba!
The collection of both womenswear and menswear will go on sale on November 23 in around 200 H&M stores worldwide. The collection of both will be revealed to the world on November 2, confirmed Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M.
“I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public,” said Alber Elbaz, artistic director of Lanvin.

I’m loving the fact that Jessica Alba has finally got a new movie coming out, not because I think she’s a good actress and want to see all her work, far from it, because it means she has to stop wearing her frumpy mom outfits and class it up a bit. Here she is at a premiere of her latest crap showing off exactly why she gets chosen to be in movies that involve chicks getting sweaty while using firearms. Making for quite the swanky evening to get things underway in Venice, the stars were out for an Uomo Vogue dinner party in celebration of director Quentin Tarrantino on Tuesday night (August 31).
Held on the eve of the 67th Venice International Film Festival, lovely ladies such as Jessica Alba and Naomi Campbell got all prettied up before attending the annual fashion party in the Italian locale.
Others in attendance were Quentin, as well as Robert Rodriguez, Stephen Dorff, Danny Trejo, Beatrice Bulgari and Danny Elfman.
As for the Venice Film Festival, tomorrow’s opening day is loaded with action – as Natalie Portman’s “Black Swan” kicks things off before screenings of Hong Kong director Andrew Lau’s “The Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen” and a midnight capper of Miss Alba’s “Machete”.

Stepping out for some promotional duties, Jessica Alba was spotted at a photo call for her new film “Machete” in Venice, Italy today (September 1).
The “Awake” actress joined costar Danny Trejo and director Robert Rodriguez at the Palazzo del Casino as part of the 67th Venice International Film Festival. “Machete” is scheduled for a midnight showing tonight.
Last night (August 31) Jessica was spotted at the Uomo Vogue dinner party in celebration of Quentin Tarantino’s career accomplishments.
Also in the house for the snazzy affair were Naomi Campbell, Stephen Dorff, Beatrice Bulgari, and Danny Elfman.
Jessica Alba swung by The Late Show yesterday afternoon, and later she ran into Natalie Portman at NYC’s JFK airport on their way to Italy for the Venice Film Festival. Natalie kept her distance from boyfriend Benjamin Millepied as they went through security, though the duo was spotted just a few weeks ago hanging out in LA together. The girls arrived at the festival site on boats this morning, and Jess gave a friendly wave as she preps to show off Machete abroad. Natalie and Benjamin’s Black Swan is set to open the annual cinema event, giving them the opportunity to perhaps go public with their romance for the first time.
When I first saw Jessica Alba is this blue dress, the photo was cropped at her waist, and I was all “Alba wins, this is gorgeous.” Alas, the bottom half. I could maybe get passionate about the blue velvet shoes, which are rather spectacular, but the shirt of the dress is just killing this look for me. If it had just been a simple, straight hem, Alba would have won. But now she just looks like a little kid standing in a funhouse mirror, wearing some fancy little-girl frock her mom bought her. With velvet heels.
